Review by hotel critic
I recently enjoyed a restorative stay at Erzherzog Johann, and it truly offered the tranquility I was seeking. Nestled in a stunning location, the hotel features an impressive SKY SPA with both indoor and outdoor pools - perfect after a day of exploring. I took full advantage of the organic Alpine herbal sauna on the rooftop, which paired beautifully with the fresh mountain air. The wellness facilities are extensive, occupying 1000m^2 and including several treatment rooms. I indulged in some facial treatments that were both refreshing and rejuvenating, courtesy of their thoughtful staff, who are genuinely attentive. Dining was a pleasure as well; I appreciated the well-catered meals which catered to all preferences, including options for children, making it a family-friendly choice. For those looking to unwind, the sauna and treatment rooms offered a serene escape. Free parking is a nice touch, though be mindful during peak times. I found it to be a fine retreat. Whether you're into hiking or just need a serene getaway, Erzherzog Johann provides a lovely escape in the heart of nature.
